We started using this when my sons were 6 and 8. It is a very good (albeit somewhat dated) program. Typing can be very frustrating for children, and they need all the encouragement they can get. Games are such a great incentive. The download was actually easier than the disc (we used the disc years ago and could never get it to work, finally forfeiting the cost of the disc and just purchasing the download).My only complaint is that the version I purchased 2 years ago was no longer available for download to the 3 new computers we got our kids. I still have the older version on mine, but we had to purchase “gold” for the kids. They don’t appear to be very different, but for whatever reason the one I had is no longer available for download.
